WHAT A GREAT IDEA!
Wondering what to eat on a raw food diet? Try this: Get out a piece of paper and start writing down fruits and vegetables that you like. You will surprise yourself at how long your list becomes. Then, look online or in raw food books and find recipes with those foods to start a recipe file for yourself. Try new recipes every day or so and you will soon have the hang of it! It really is easier than you think.

FUN IN THE KITCHEN!
It's amazing how food seems to taste different when it is in a different shape. Take cucumbers, for example. You can slice them in discs for a salad. You can cut them in cubes and drizzle with oil, vinegar and fresh dill. But if you use a spiral slicer or mandoline and slice them very thin and add a dressing you like, they seem to magically become a tender delicacy. It's fun!

THIS RECIPE RAWKS!
In a hurry and want to make a healthy raw salad dressing? Here is one of my make-in-a-minute favorites. Forget the store bought MSG and high fructose corn syrup filled bottled dressings. Save time, money and your health by making them yourself.

FRESH LEMON-GARLIC DRESSING

Fresh squeezed juice of 1 lemon
An equal amount of olive oil
1 big garlic clove, minced

Stir it up with a fork or blend until nice and smooth and drizzle desired amount over your salad. Add fresh spices such as dill, cilantro, parsley, basil or oregano, if you'd like. Tastes clean, fresh and delicious, every time!
