Although the recipes were chosen primarily for their simplicity, they also happen to be delicious, nutritious and filling. So not only will your taste buds be satisfied, but your hunger will be, too. And that's vitally important – not only to keep your metabolism fired up, but also to help you stick with the program so you see the results you desire.
Remember, compared to the typical western diet, these easy raw food recipes are made from healthy, relatively low calorie, high-fiber, high-water-content, nutrient-dense food. So experiment with portion sizes until you learn what it takes to really fill you up. These are not “addictive” foods that cause you to eat uncontrollably well past satiation.
With raw food, you will likely reach a point where you feel you've had enough. Just tune into your body. When you're hungry, eat. When you're full, stop. And if you choose to go all the way and eat 100% raw foods, all those old addictive chemicals will soon be cleaned out of your system and your body will come back into balance even quicker.
