I Am Making A Commitment And Sticking To It

When you make a commitment to yourself to follow your plan and achieve your goals, you are putting the power back in your own hands to take charge of your life. You may have a powerful motivating reason to lose weight, such as a major life event, but in the end, this commitment is all for you and the transformation of your health.

I have to admit, I feel that this one exercise right here is one of the most powerful tools on this entire website. Why? Because it is the one guiding principle that kept me going on raw foods. That kept me on track when I was faced with overwhelming temptations. That kept me making the right decisions for my health every single day, even when I was extra tired or stressed out. Because of the firm commitment I made to myself, and the constant reminder in my head that "I Made A Commitment And I'm Sticking To It," nothing could dissuade me from following through with it.

So, if you'd like, download the certificate at the bottom of the page, print it, fill it out, and put it where you will see it every day. Perhaps on your refrigerator door, or your bathroom mirror, or a bulletin board. Or even all three places! Have it witnessed by the important people in your life and ask them to help you stick with it. Even better, maybe they would like to make a commitment, too, and you can change your lives together!

My Commitment

I, __________________________, hereby state that losing weight and improving my health is of the utmost importance to me.

I am extremely motivated to lose weight because:


I have come to a point in my life where I am now ready to lose weight.

Losing weight has become one of the highest priorities in my life.

I realize that my current weight did not come about overnight, nor will it likely resolve itself overnight. Therefore, I choose to dedicate the next _______months to doing what it takes to lose weight so I can be radiantly healthy for the rest of my life.
