When I first went raw, reading lots of raw food books not only taught me a great deal about the raw food diet, but also kept me exceedingly motivated to stick to this new way of eating. Many authors share their own personal stories of healing and physical transformation, and I found them profoundly inspiring. I, too, wanted to experience all the possible health benefits the raw food diet has to offer – and I truly have!
Something else occurs when you read these books: your mind stretches. Once you learn how your food choices affect your body, you can never go back to your previous way of thinking. You have become informed, and it literally changes the way you see the world - and for the better.
