These raw food detox books are in a special category all on their own because of the unique properties of detoxification and inner cleansing that they promote. 

You know, the raw food diet just by itself is already highly cleansing and detoxifying to a certain point. Just by eliminating the body-clogging and health-damaging foods of the Standard American Diet is an amazing step towards improving digestion and overall health.

Then, when you begin to eat more alkalizing, more nutritious, more cleansing foods, such as raw fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds and superfoods, your health ramps up yet another step.

But what is promoted in most of these raw food detox books goes beyond the already amazing health benefits of a typical raw food diet and focuses on specific raw foods and combinations of foods that are the very best body cleansers available.

Some books offer a program to follow for a certain amount of time, and then progress towards a healthy maintenance plan. Others suggest certain detox juices or even juice fasts to follow for a short time now and then.

But all of these books aim to help you rid your body of toxins, cleanse your body from the inside out and promote deep healing processes through various aspects of a healthy raw food diet. They are also particularly helpful for weight loss.  I have undergone several raw food detox programs myself and had incredible success with them. I highly recommend these raw food detox books!
